Position Title: Post-Doctoral Research Associate

Working with other QFC staff, you will play a lead role in updating a Lake Michigan
salmonid stocking decision analysis model and assist with a multi-species fishery harvest
policy for Lake Huron. These projects will also involve collaboration with Great Lakes
fishery agency personnel. You may also be expected to work on education or outreach
projects for QFC Supporting Partners.
Qualifications:
Ph.D. in fisheries, biology, or related quantitative science. Aptitude in modeling of
population dynamics and application of statistics to natural resource issues. Strongest
applicants will have a demonstrated record of peer-review publications, and have
experience in collaborative work with state/federal/tribal fishery biologists.
Salary:
$45,000/year + benefits
